"You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the art of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved." Ansel Adams

Himba Village
The sun hangs in the sky, scorching the earth
The dunes are flat and featureless in the harsh rays
Mirages float on the burning sands, teasing and tempting with lies
Precious, little moisture finds it way through the sands
A flash of red dances in the distance
Working, surviving on lands no other man or animal will claim,
lives a tribe known as Himba
The wind whispers and moans, telling their stories
